Keith Urban and the Nashville Symphony will team this October to honor Country Music Hall of Fame member Don Williams.

“Don Williams: Music & Memories of The Gentle Giant” starts a three-night run at Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Oct. 31. Keith Urban will curate the show and the Nashville Symphony will accompany Williams’ music.

“Don Williams and his music are strong threads in the tapestry of my life,” Urban said in a statement.  “I jumped at the chance to play even a small role in this incredible concert experience.  There is no better way to celebrate him and his legacy than reliving those musical moments, and I’m honored to be part of continuing to share his story and music.”

Over his more than four-decade career, Williams earned 17 No. 1 songs including “I Believe in You,” “It Must Be Love,” “Lord I Hope This Day Is Good” and “Tulsa Time.” Known as the Gentle Giant, Williams was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010.

Tickets for “Don Williams: Music & Memories of The Gentle Giant” will go on sale May 27 for 80 hours in celebration of Williams’ 80th birthday. Remaining tickets will be available July 19.
